Ever wonder how clay pigeons are made?

As shotgun sports enthusiasts we break thousands or more each year.

Take a look into the hidden world of how our favorite targets are made.

We shoot shotguns at them. We have lined them up on target range backstops for reactive targets. We even shoot arrows at them on occasion.

The clay target or rightfully named clay pigeon takes the place of live birds. They store well, are cheap and don’t poop like real birds do or make an unsightly mess when hit by bird shot. Buy them by the case and improve your shooting abilities.

How It’s Made shared a video on YouTube of how the clay pigeons are made. What an incredible process just to get taken to pieces hopefully on the first shot.
