Ever been scope eyed before?

Well if you have been then you are a member of the ever increasing club.

Check out this shooter that gets an eye full of scope all caught on camera.

It can happen literally in the blink of an eye. You have been scope eyed. Such was the case of this shooter trying out a .300 Winchester Magnum rifle in a video shared by YouTuber Randall Blackwell.

While scope eye can be 100% avoided it can bite any shooter who gets too far forward on the rifle’s stock. Another culprit is mounting a scope too far rearward. The recoil sends the scope right into your eye. Yes, a shotgun mounted with a scope can also have quite a negative impact of your eye.

Always be aware of recoil and how close to your eye the scope will come during recoil. Otherwise, welcome to the scope eye club!
