In times of need cheaply made slam fire shotguns get the job done.

The main use of these weapons is to procure a better weapon from the enemy.

Witness the Richardson Industries “Guerrilla Gun” that certainly works well.

Richardson Industries decided to try and market a slam fire shotgun. This design was used in guerrilla warfare even back in World War Two when guns were not too easy to get behind enemy lines.

Black pipe shotguns of the slam fire style are easy to make from hardware store parts. This one is a bit more fancy that most DIY versions but is still a far cry from a standard factory made shotgun. It will do however in a pinch.

Special thanks to Iraqveteran8888 and the late great Barry for showing us what this simple yet interesting weapon is all about.
