Do you cast your own lead projectiles?

If you are a lead bullet caster or have been around lead bullet casting fans you have probably heard of a “swager greaser”. Well RCBS has their own version of this much needed tool correctly called the RCBS Lube-A-Matic-2 Bullet Sizer-Lubricator. I requested one for review and the product that I received from RCBS is exactly what I have come to expect from them, a working quality piece of art.
Right out of the box set up of the RCBS Lube-A-Matic-2 Bullet Sizer-Lubricator was a breeze. All I had to do is mount it to my bench top, screw on the handle and load the supplied RCBS Bullet Lubricant. That is certainly easy enough.

Size and lubricate cast bullets in one step with the Lube-A-Matic-2. Just insert a bullet into the sizer die and pull the handle, a sized and lubricated bullet will eject on the upstroke. A fingertip regulator allows you to fine-tune lubricant flow to achieve optimal results. With the Lube-A-Matic-2, you can also seat gas checks for added convenience.

Into the RCBS Lube-A-Matic-2 Bullet Sizer-Lubricator the lubricant goes in the image below. Add the correct size dies for your cast lead projectiles and you are in business.
The beauty of the RCBS Lube-A-Matic-2 Bullet Sizer-Lubricator is the ease of operation. Insert your lead projectile into the die, cycle the handle downward, and give the flow handle a small counter-clockwise turn. Raise up the handle and now you have a properly sized and lubricated projectile ready for loading.
There is a certain feeling of accomplishment when your own cast lead projectiles are loaded into your handloaded cartridges for your ammo stash. If you are a D.I.Y. enthusiast casting projectiles and handloading is a great hobby to get into.
