Sometimes a game changing product comes along that positively impacts your hunting experience.
Slogan Outdoors has certainly hit that mark and I got a chance to test out their incredible slings.
If you spend any time hunting you know that sometimes you need your hands free. Hunting for the perfect sling has been a three decade quest of mine. Regular slings might be quite rigid, slide off your shoulder and many other annoying traits. A search online brought me to Slogan Outdoors and their game changing slings that are made right in Michigan.
What about long guns without attached sling swivels or swivel posts? Are we stuck carrying them all day and setting them in the snow, mud or the hard ground when we need two hands? The answer now is a firm NO! The first sling I will talk about here is the Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex Shotgun Loop Sling. No swivels, no problem!

Based on the Ultraflex sling design and strap size, it provides the same benefits as the Ultraflex for carry positions. A terrific nonpermanent mounting system. It attaches to the firearm with a rubber loop system that attaches to the stock, and unique para-cord loop system that securely attaches to the barrel by what is known as a “clinch knot”. The para-cord loop system is to be installed on the barrel of the gun first, followed by stretching the rubber loop system over the stock.
A great system for double barrel shotguns and over and under shotguns. It is designed for any shotgun, rifle, or muzzleloader that does not have any studs or swivels to mount to. (No drilling or tapping needed for this sling)
All our slings are constructed of a high-grade synthetic rubber. This material has a life expectancy of 40+ years without dry rot. This sling is impervious to the weather, quiet, non-slip, shock-absorbing, UV stabilized, and stays flexible to -40 degrees below zero.

Right away I found the packaging itself was full of great information on the uses of the Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex Shotgun Loop Sling.
Right away I can tell you is when you attach the Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex Shotgun Loop Sling to your rifle, shotgun or muzzleloader it stays on right where you attached it.
I chose my very vintage Stevens Model 5100 for my test subject for the Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex Shotgun Loop Sling. This shotgun is a favorite of mine for reaching tall tree top squirrels. Since it is now squirrel season here in Ohio, this shotgun and sling combination got field time.
I am amazed by zero sling migration up the barrel as I walk! I have tried traditional loop leather slings and it was always a fight to keep it in place. Not with this incredible sling!
I also really like the “backpack carry” option. Since the Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex Shotgun Loop Sling is comprised of two bands, pull one band over your head and now you are ready to climb tough terrain or other obstacles that you need two hands and not a firearm sliding around in the way. That is incredible in my honest opinion!
Does your long gun get heavy slung with a regular sling on a long hunt’s day? Well this sling literally is it’s own shock absorber! That is quite a win for comfort and will help keep your head in the game of hunting instead of on fatigue. It is also adjustable for length.
I also tried the Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex Shotgun Loop Sling on my vintage bolt action .22 that lacks sling swivels, and also an Investarms .58 caliber muzzleloader. It works great on all of the above! That shows you the flexibility of this very unique sling.

I chose a favorite big game hunting and plinking rifle, the Henry Side Gate All Weather .45/70 Lever Action. While not deer season yet, it accompanied me on my trek while setting up my hunting blinds in case I came across a coyote. Sadly, she never spoke once during the trip but tested out the Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex Firearm Sling very well with style.
Right away the Slogan Outdoors Ultraflex Firearm Sling worked incredible on this rifle. It also looks great too! This multi-purpose sling can also stabilize your off hand shooting too!
