I have long been a fan of Irish Setter boots. Insulated boots in the summer heat would not be a fun time. Now however they have come quite in handy as I found out while reviewing them.

Right away I found the same fit and comfort with the 8-inch VaprTrek waterproof leather insulated boots as I have with my previously reviewed non-insulated version.
The best part of these 8-inch VaprTrek waterproof leather insulated boots is they are insulated. How about 800 grams of PrimaLoft® insulation. Impressive right? These boots are lightweight, warm and waterproof.
I think back to all of the bulky boots I have used over the years and wish the 8-inch VaprTrek waterproof leather insulated boots were around back then!
After all of the heavy boots of the past I feel the 8-inch VaprTrek waterproof leather insulated boots allow me to travel quicker, quieter, and also with less fatigue at the end of the day. They have now become my long distance hiking and wild area wandering boots for the colder weather.
