When you want ultra concealment a regular handgun just won’t due.
When you need 007 style concealment the Trailblazer Firearms LifeCard is second to none.

Sometimes a traditional handgun ends up being left at home for being too large or a thousand other reasons. Now that is a crying shame when you can have a hidden friend in plain sight. While doing research for an article, I came across a very interesting tiny handgun called the Trailblazer Firearms LifeCard. I was thoroughly intrigued and had to get my hands on one to test out. Contacting Trailblazer Firearms was very easy and the LifeCard for this review was then quickly on the way to my friend Bill Zupancic’s gun shop named Finest Firearms in Mentor, Ohio. Check out his great website for more information on what he carries in store and can order for your shooting needs.

Right away I was completely amazed by just how small the Trailblazer Firearms LifeCard is when folded. It certainly looks like anything else other than a handgun. With the limited edition Miami Vice style color pattern I certainly felt nostalgia for the 1980’s! Is it a credit card, or a vape device? Only you have that answer and that would be a surprise to any threatening attacker!

What is really impressive about this Trailblazer Firearms LifeCard is that with the threaded barrel nut removed you can add your favorite .22 suppressor to it. While I did not have access to one at the time of this review to test it out that certainly is a handy feature on such a covert pistol!
For testing I tried various loads from bulk pack Federal .22 Long Rifle ammunition to the Federal Punch Flat Nose Personal Defense cartridges. All fired with zero issues and finger nail extraction of the spent case was no problem. This little pistol is like the great, great, grandson of the vintage Stevens Tip Up Pistols that I am quite fond of firing and carrying afield.

The Trailblazer Firearms LifeCard is a specialized single shot .22 Long Rifle (tested) or .22 Magnum chambered handgun for up close and personal defense where all other larger handguns would be impractical. With that in mind, the minimal sights are of little consequence and actually add to the snag free carry and draw in a tense situation.

In summary after testing out this Trailblazer Firearms LifeCard I can honestly state there is no reason that anyone that can legally be armed should not always be armed in public. If this is not your primary carry, it certainly will be your favorite when in need of a secondary or deep cover option. Oh yes, and the Trailblazer Firearms LifeCard is quite fun to shoot and the ammo is cheap. Now that is a win win for certain!
