Right off the bat I wanted to test out the RCBS Primer Pocket Swager-Bench Tool as a movable bench top tool. Mounted to a piece of scrap wood, I can use a standard clamp and secure it anywhere I want.
The easy way to mount the RCBS Primer Pocket Swager-Bench Tool to a board or a wooden bench top with the supplied mounting screws is using a 9/32″ drill bit to drill your holes and screw directly into them. It is a tight, and solid mount that has held up great for testing.
Accessories are included for both .22 and .30 caliber cases. This will allow you to swage the primer pockets of your favorite military surplus cartridges.
All assembled this RCBS Primer Pocket Swager-Bench Tool is ready for 7.62X51mm (.30 caliber) cartridges. Insert the casing on the steel rod and lower into position.
Pull handle and that is all. Remove your swaged cartridge case and it’s ready for priming. So simple!
