For melting the lead during the mould review I used a RCBS PRO MELT-2. The top of it is a great place to heat up your mould for proper casting. Make sure that mould is warmed up well for the best cast bullets possible.
A nice spring day finally arrived and I set up my casting operation on the patio. It’s important that you cast lead in a well ventilated area. Outside is the best choice for me.
After following RCBS‘s included instructions and adding my own experience I enjoyed a quiet morning casting beautiful .45 Auto projectiles. Shiny right? I can’t wait to load them up and head to the range soon!
