Can a bullet be spun on the ice?
It certainly has been done and this time with a rifle.
Witness a 7.62mm bullet go for a spin out on the ice.
YouTuber DYLANLEW2008 shared a video that in the beginning looks not very interesting. A man fires a shotgun loaded with what appears to be shotgun slugs. Holes are left in the ice but no spinning projectiles from the scattergun.
A closer look though brings excitement to the group of onlookers and the shooter. There on the ice is a spinning .30 caliber (7.62mm) rifle bullet. It spins like a top and reportedly had been spinning since the previous rifle shots were made 2-3 minutes earlier. Look at that bullet show off it’s spin to the camera.
While I never would suggest shooting bullets at hard objects such as ice this urban myth is certainly proven true. Don’t try this at home though or anywhere for that matter. Be safe and watch this video instead.
