Think the .410 bore shotgun is too small for home defense?
Well 22plinkster dug out the ballistics gel and gave it the ultimate test.
Watch this video before you decide to use a .410 bore shotgun for home defense.
The famous YouTube sensation 22plinkster and the great folks at Henry Repeating Arms decided to test out just how good the popular Henry Arms Lever Action Axe .410 with various loads is for home defense. For a stand in for a home invader are blocks of ballistic gelatin.
From light birdshot to foster style lead shotgun slugs all were tested. The slow motion footage especially is an eye opener when fired into gel. With light recoil and quick follow up shots the lever action .410 certainly will get the job done. My personal favorite for the .410 in 2.5″ loads is the 000 buckshot load also tested.
Many thanks to my friends at Henry Arms for putting together this very informative and action packed video. Be sure to follow them on YouTube for more great videos.
