Feral hogs are bad news to the environment.
They are best served with thermal imaging and large calibers.
Witness the drone footage of .50 BMG vs. feral hogs all in thermal imaging.
Feral hogs have become a huge environmental disaster in much of the United States. They breed prolifically and will strip the land to mud. Native animal species suffer and farmers get hit hard by the nasty beasts.
That is where large calibers and thermal imaging can make all the difference. Seeing the hogs’ heat signatures and engaging them in the dead of night when they are most active is a great way to take care of business. A .50 BMG rifle also has plenty of smack and the distance to tag any hog the hunter can spot.
Check out the overhead drone footage video shared by Hog Hunting Mania on Facebook. The action is quite spectacular to say the least.
